Emotional Brain TrainingEmotional Brain Training (EBT) is based on the current understanding of the neuroplasticity of the brain. EBT specifically focuses on the limbic or emotional brain, the part of our anatomy that houses our moods, stress and red hot drives to go to excess. The long-term result is to change your wiring for more freedom and joy in your life. Wired for Joy is the 4-week beginner course of EBT. Participants learn to identify their brain states and effectively apply just the right practice that most easily and quickly moves them to a state of well-being. They also learn to collect “joy points” since pleasure swamps pain.

After completing Wired for Joy, EBT offers a progressive training program in which participants build upon the tools learned in Wired for Joy and retrain the emotional brain by altering their set-point to be "wired for joy". Old stress circuits are rewired to new circuits of joy. Participants work through six Kits, each which contain an information-packed journal, CDs, and website support. With limbic brain retraining, stress symptoms such as anxiety, depression, overeating, sugar cravings, overspending, overworking, chemical pleasures and drinking reduced, and sustainable rewards -- sanctuary, authenticity, vibrancy, integrity, intimacy and spirituality are built. EBT Groups meet weekly, and an EBT Provider and other participants practicing EBT create a fun and enriching environment!

Emotional Braining Training was developed during the last 25 years at the University of California, San Francisco. Research has shown that people who use this method over the long-term tend to experience lasting improvements in depression, anxiety, relationships, blood pressure, weight, and addictions. EBT is based on cutting edge neuroscience, and is practical, effective and fun to use. Once you learn the tools, you'll wonder what you ever did without them.
