Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic Medicine is a unique and distinct system of health care that emphasizes the use of prevention and natural therapeutics. Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are trained to serve as primary care general practitioners who are experts in the prevention, diagnosis, management, and treatment of both acute and chronic health conditions.

Massage & Bodywork
The intention of the massage therapists at the Santa Cruz Naturopathic Medical Center is to create and hold a deep meditative and healing environment so that our clients feel nurtured and rejuvenated. Client-centered and intuitive, we give our full presence during a massage, allowing for deep healing to emerge.

Rolfing
Rolfing is a type of bodywork that uses soft tissue manipulation, or touch, to organize, align and balance the body in gravity. Rolfers work primarily with fascia, the web-like connective tissue that surrounds, permeates, and connects every part of the body.

General Service Information
Phone Consultations: For the convenience of our patients, our Naturopathic Doctors offer follow-up appointments over the phone. The fees for follow-up phone consultations are the same as they are for in-office follow-up visits.
Payment: Payment is expected upon services rendered. We gladly accept cash, personal checks and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and American Express).
Insurance: Some insurances will cover Naturopathic Medicine and/or Acupuncture. It is important to check with your insurance company to see if your specific policy has coverage. Although we currently don't accept insurance, our office will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement. If you have a PPO, most labs ordered by your Naturopathic Doctor should be covered.
